Become A Resident

Our residency program is a two-year residency for artists who want to grow in both the spiritual and practical implications of their ministry.

This program provides leadership experience, pastoral growth opportunities as well as in-depth character development throughout the course of two years. In addition to being a part of our team, residents go through our Development Program with the intention of leading and gaining experience through the various opportunities available at our church.

*All residencies are a two-year, support raised program and include theological training through the Austin Stone Institute.

Residency FAQ

"I wish I could tell you twenty stories of what God did during my time in the residency program. It was two years full of hard work, heart rejuvenation, miraculous provision, strengthened faith, lasting camaraderie, diverse experiences, invaluable training, all-life worship, sharpened vision, ministry preparation, and much more. It changed the course of my whole life."

--- Wes Ardis, Harvest Lakeshore in Stevensville, MI

"The Worship Residency program was exactly what I needed between college and a full-time career. I developed my giftings specifically for ministry, made a network of relationships that will last a lifetime, and learned how to be a healthy church member by studying theology, liturgy, and how to serve a church family well."

--- Tara Thompson, Christ Covenant in Atlanta, GA

"My time in residency at the Austin Stone became the most formative experience of my life up to that point. Through community and mentorship God shaped me into a better husband, brought humility into my life as a leader, and grew in me a desire to see his kingdom advance."

--- Travis Sterrett, Redeemer Fellowship in Kansas City, MO
